Billy
Since this book was written, many laws and government agencies have been created to prevent cases like Billy's. If these had existed at the time of Elnora, would it still have been Elnora's responsibility to take care of Billy? Are we better people for having created the agencies for child welfare or are we colder now and unwilling to take care of kids on the street?

I Think she would have done the same thing.
ReplyDeletei think as any body a human beeing would do the ''right thing''. they would feed that boy, and help him out as much they could. i think it's a good place we're in and it should still grow in stances greatly to make sure theyre is truly no kid alone in the streets. no kids should be alone and i think it should be that way. of course we still need to progress to that but that way should be.
ReplyDeleteI don't think it would've been Elnoras responsiblity to take care of billy if those laws and regulations existed then. We are much better for creating agencies for child welfare becuse kids wont be left on the streets, they'll have food to eat, and clothes on there backs.
